Our thermal audit found intake cartridges on the affected units drawing 18–22% below catalog CFM at the same PWM duty cycle as healthy neighbors. Exhaust modules were serviceable. We scheduled a single Saturday visit with eight pre-staged cartridges.
After swaps, inlet delta-T on the worst unit dropped from 14°C above rack mean to 3°C. Pool-side hash recovered over the following 36 hours as thermal throttling released. Total onsite time: three hours forty minutes including documentation.
